Inductance

Wound inductor

The inductance has a wide range, high accuracy, low loss, high allowable current, strong inheritance of manufacturing process, simplicity, and low cost, but its shortcomings are limited in further miniaturization. Ceramic based wound inductors can maintain stable inductance and relatively low loss values at high frequencies, thus occupying a place in high-frequency circuits.

Detail

he functions of wound inductor are generally used for oscillation, delay, notch, filtering, and other purposes. In conventional circuits, the coil of the winding inductor acts on AC finite current, and it can form high pass or low-pass filters, phase-shifting circuits, and resonant circuits with resistors or capacitors. Secondly, the winding can be controlled through transformers for functions such as AC coupling, voltage transformation, current transformation, and impedance transformation.
